To add an application icon to "ToMultiFinder" follow these steps:
1) Open ResEdit
2) Open file "ToMultiFinderICN#"
3) Open file "ToMultiFinder" (Work on a copy--just in case!)
4) Copy the 4 resources (BNDL, FREF, TOMF, & ICN#) in "ToMultiFinderICN#" and paste them into the "ToMultiFinder" application (use the Edit menu for copy & paste)
5) Close both files & save the changes to "ToMultiFinder"
6) Select "ToMultiFinder" and choose 'Get Info' from ResEdit's file menu
7) Change the Creator to "TOMF" (without the quotes)
8) Check the box marked "Bundle"
9) Quit ResEdit, but hold down both the Option and Command keys as you quit and click "OK" to rebuild the desktop when the dialog appears.
If all goes well, ToMultiFinder will now have an icon on the desktop. If you don't like my icon, you can edit it to your own preferences with ResEdit, but be sure to update the ICN# data mask (use the ICN# menu in ResEdit). Your changes won't appear until you rebuild the desktop. Enjoy.
